Since opening our doors in October 2024, your passion for thoughtful, plant-based cuisine has been the heartbeat of Jupiter Supper Club. You’ve helped prove that food rooted in compassion and sustainability can be both exciting and unforgettable. We are deeply grateful for your trust, enthusiasm, and community.
In the spirit of transparency—an essential value in our approach to hospitality—we want to share an important update with you directly.
After a careful review of the past 10 months, we’ve come to a difficult but necessary decision: our current 100% vegan model is not financially sustainable, and the overwhelming feedback has been requests for a more complete menu. Like many independent restaurants, we’re navigating rising operating costs and market realities that our current sales simply cannot offset.
While we will not compromise the quality of our plant-based offerings, we will begin serving a small, carefully selected range of ethically sourced omni-based dishes within the next two weeks. This shift will help us preserve our space, safeguard the jobs of our dedicated team, and continue championing plant-forward dining in Austin.
Here's what's changing and what's not:
We understand this decision may be disappointing to some of our longtime supporters. Please know it was not made lightly. Our mission—to celebrate food that is kind to people, animals, and the planet—remains unchanged. Introducing a few responsibly sourced omni-based options will allow us to keep that mission alive and accessible.
